37 CALORIE BROWNIES!!! NO JOKE!!!
Ingredients:
3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt (Vanilla flavor tastes great)
1/4 cup skim milk (Almond milk, Cashew milk, or Coconut milk)
1/2 cup Cocoa powder
1/2 cup Old fashioned rolled oats (like Quaker)
1/2 cup stevia in the raw (or coconut sugar)
1 egg
1/3 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 pinch salt
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Grease a square baking dish (I used 8″x 8″). Combine all ingredients into a food processor or a blender, and blend until smooth (about 1 minute). Pour into the prepared dish and bake for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into 9 large squares. MMMMMM….

Hiii so excited to tryy😋 Any reccomendations for the yogurt replacement? I was considering applesauce but hesitant once noticing it already included in the recipe. You think a 1:1 substitution would still be feasible?

Just made these (still cooling). Very excited to taste them! I made the recipe as shown, but the calorie content is far from correct. I entered the items into MyFitnessPal, and, if cut into 9 pieces as directed in the recipe, they come out to 106 calories per serving. I made them in an 8×11 pan and cut them into 12 pieces, making them 80 calories per serving. Still not bad for a “dessert”, but I wish I had the true calories prior to making them. Very misleading.

I loved these, thank you. I’m surprised by some of the comments to be honest, these things really nip the chocolate cravings, and I thought they came out just fine. I kept mine in the oven for 22 minutes though and I used Truvia so my brownies were 75 calories each (I used an 8×8, and made nine) which is okay with me considering the alternative. Yuuuum!

Your calorie count is wrong. It’s around 50 cals per 12 squares

Thanks.

The calories difference you mention is assuming 12 squares as you say, but if it’s an 8×8 square pan, and you assume 16 squares, then 37 calories per brownie is likely not far off.

Oh actually…never mind. I see where he says divide into 9 large squares so I understand what you mean now.

I made just as directed and I think they’re good! I’m used to super healthy treats without sugar and flour though. But I love the texture and it satisfies my craving. Thanks for the recipe!

I followed Lisa’s suggestions. I think cutting the cocoa AND adding sweetener was too much. I wish I had only scaled back the cocoa powder. Not a bad treat!

I tried making these last night and they turned out pretty terrible. They were extremely bitter and lacked sweetness. They were however very moist and the texture was great. I will make this in the future again but with these substitutions; 3/4 cup stevia or coconut palm sugar and only 1/4 to 1/3 cup of cocoa. I did make these with natural greek yogurt (2%) and added some pecans. Will post when trying this recipe again.
