Seeing a goal can be more motivating than writing it down. Try creating a vision board filled with quotes and images that inspire you and relate to your goals.
Make yourself accountable by telling friends and family. You’ll get support through challenges and have someone to celebrate successes with.

Break up long-term goals into smaller SMART goals to make them more manageable, increase confidence and maintain drive. SMART stands for specific, measureable and meaningful, action-oriented, realistic and timely.
Keep it real.
Although it’s great to dream big, people are more likely to reach goals that are realistic based on their strengths and abilities. For goals that are unrealistic at this time, figure out what needs to happen to make them more feasible.
Commit to yourself.
Last but not least, there is only one person in the goal-setting process that matters, and that person is YOU! No one else will achieve your goals. Reflect on motivation and purpose (Why are you pursuing this goal?) while creating goals and when feeling discouraged.

I do my best to follow the “80/20 Rule” when it comes to the foods I eat. I eat healthy 80% of the time and 20% of the time I allow myself to splurge.
There are 7 days in a week and I eat 3 meals per day, which comes out to 21 meals per week. I eat 17 healthy meals and 4 not so healthy meals each week. I also eat 3 snacks each day. Usually, 2 hours after each main meal. Again, that’s 21 snacks per week. I eat around 17 healthy snacks and 4 not so healthy snacks each week.
I make sure I eat the proper serving size regardless of the food being healthy or not so healthy…….This might be something you want to incorporate if you’ve made the decision to switch to a healthier lifestyle.

Moroccan White Bean Soup
4 cups water
8 ounces white kidney beans.
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
1 medium onions, finely chopped
3 big tomatoes -grated-
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 tbsp. chopped cilantro
3 tablespoons vegetable soup
1⁄4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1⁄4 teaspoon white pepper
1⁄4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoons cumin
Soak the beans in water for at least 3 hours.
When the beans are a little soft bring to boil in the same soaking water.
Reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Meanwhile mix all the other ingredients and add it to the pot.
Let it cook for 40 to 50 minutes or until the sauce thickens and the beans are done. Sometimes it takes one hour to be done, just watch it closely, you don’t want it to be over cooked.
